NCMGMA is coming to Charlotte for our Annual Conference, May 7-9, 2017, at the Westin Charlotte.  This year's event promises first-class educational programs, leading speakers and authentic networking events with members and exhibitors.

This year’s conference “The Challenge of Leading Change,” will tie together the various aspects of what healthcare administrators are challenged with every day, featuring content on finance, customer service, legal issues, social media, and human resources. Additionally, NCMGMA’s Annual Conference will feature over 60 exhibitors for you to meet with, offering services from IT, EHR, staffing, insurance and so much more.

Westin Charlotte

Westin Charlotte HotelThis year, our headquarters hotel is also the location of our Annual Conference: The Westin Charlotte.  Located in the heart of downtown, the Westin Charlotte puts you right in the middle of Uptown Charlotte's Arts & Entertainment District.  From the hotel, it is just a short walk to museums, art galleries, restaurants and some of the city's best night life!

All events for the Annual Conference are scheduled at the Westin Charlotte and we are pleased to offer our attendees the discounted group rate of $224 per night (plus 15.25% tax).  This rate includes daily self-parking for one car per guest room.  Hotel reservations can be made via phone by calling 1-866-837-4148 and asking for the North Carolina Medical Group Management Association room Block or online by clicking here.  The NCMGMA Westin Charlotte room block cutoff is April 14th.

Additional Staff Discount

NCMGMA is making it affordable for your to bring all of your practice leadership! Bring one or more additional staff from your practice and you will save $100 on each additional conference registration (the discounted rate is $200 per person). When you register online, or use the printable registration, make sure to select the $200 Additional Staff option for all practice associates who will be joining you at the Annual Conference.

NCMGMA is supporting students in healthcare! Our organization is contributing $5 for each paid attendee registration which will go toward the Davis Watson Scholarship Fund.

NCMGMA Member Types

Active Membership - An Active Member is currently employed in an executive, managerial or administrative capacity of a medical group engaged in the practice of medicine as a legal entity sharing business management facilities, records and personnel and/or services in an executive, managerial or administrative capacity of an integrated delivery organization that includes, as part of its primary mission, the provision of physician services and administration of physician practices type.

Affiliate Membership - An Affiliate Member is employed by an organization that provides products and/or services which enhance each Association member's ability to meet the health needs of their community, including, but not limited to business consultants, providers of products and services.

Student Membership - Student Membership is available to any person who is a full time or part time student according to the guidelines of their college or university.  Student Members shall not have the right to vote and shall not have the right to serve as officers or directors of the Association.

Practice of the Year Award

Presented by First Citizens Bank.

NCMGMA is proud to partner with First Citizens Bank to present the 4th Annual Practice of the Year Award, to be presented on the evening of Monday, May 8th during the NCMGMA Annual Conference in Charlotte. This award recognizes a medical group practice that has made a significant contribution to their community, patients and/or staff through volunteer work, indigent clinics, fundraisers, staff wellness programs, community clean ups, community screenings and education (internal & external), etc.

Join us at the Annual Conference to see who wins this year's award!  The Award will be presented at the Monday, May 8th evening dinner event.  Follow this link for a nomination form.  The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, March 22nd.

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received on or before April 27th (seven business days prior to the conference) are entitled to a full refund less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be awarded for cancellations after April 27th or for no-shows.
