General Information

Benton Convention Center
301 West Fifth Street, Winston-Salem, NC, 27101

The NCMGMA came together last week in Winston-Salem for our 2024 Fall Conference. Benton Convention Center played host to this year’s lineup of innovation experts and healthcare thought leaders. We caught up with old friends while making new ones and walked away with tips to enhance our practices and make ourselves healthier and more effective leaders.

Thank you to all our attendees, speakers, Alliance sponsors and volunteers. Without your continued support we could not make this event the success that it is.

At our NCMGMA business meeting, our incoming president Michelle Wallace recognized 2024 NCMGMA President Charlie Furr for his outstanding leadership and service to NCMGMA.

We also made an exciting decision as an organization: the membership approved the merger of NCMGMA and the South Carolina Medical Group Management Association. As of January 1, 2025, we will be known as the Carolinas Medical Group Management Association.

New Fall Conference Networking Event!
Emerging Leaders Meet & Greet

 Emerging Leaders Meet & Greet

We launched our inaugural Emerging Leaders Group cohort this summer. To continue the momentum of this new program and to build excitement for our next cohort, we held our very first Meet & Greet. This was a great opportunity for new managers to mingle and to meet members who have a wealth of healthcare leadership experience. This was also a chance for Emerging Leaders to meet our inaugural cohort mentor Matt Johnson of Wake Internal Medicine Consultants.

Watch for more Emerging Leader programing coming in 2025!
