2023 NCMGMA Fall Conference a Success! We couldn’t ask for more beautiful weather or location as we came together September 13-15 for the 2023 NCMGMA Fall Conference at the newly remodeled Grandover Resort & Spa in Greensboro, NC. Over 180 attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors enjoyed continuing education from some of the finest thought leaders, participated in essential networking events with peers and friends, recognized community excellence with our First Citizens Practice of the Year award, and experienced the sold-out exhibit hall full of Alliance sponsor products and services.
Thank you to everyone who pulled away from their busy schedules to join us. Thank you to all our speakers and exhibitors for sharing your knowledge and expertise and thank you to our sponsors for your continued support of our organization: we couldn’t do it without you. And, lastly, thank you to our volunteers for leading the organization and keeping us moving in the right direction: your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed. Practice of the Year Award

According to the Moore County Health Department’s 2019 Community Health Assessment, diabetes is the 7th leading cause of death in the county, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) listed it as the 8th leading cause of death in North Carolina in 2021. As the only diabetes program accredited by the American Diabetes Association in Moore County, Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s DSMES program is committed to improving these statistics through collaboration and evidence-based resources to provide patients with life-changing results.
Outside of Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s DSMES program, the organization has supported the Moore Free & Charitable Clinic through financial donations as well as several providers giving their time. Currently, the Moore Free & Charitable Clinic is able to serve over 300 uninsured diabetic Moore County residents.
A $3000 check was presented to Moore Free & Charitable Clinic as part of Pinehurst Medical Clinic’s Practice of the Year award presentation.
